Tips for Wearing a Gun Belt
Whether you’re wearing a holster on your belt or inside the waistband, a stiffened, rigid gun belt will help to support the weight of your firearm. Nylon belts tend to be extremely durable as well as moisture resistant and can be sanitized when necessary. Be sure to tighten your gun belt enough to prevent sagging. Sagging can not only affect your access to the weapon and overall safety but increases the likelihood of printing or even exposing your firearm. Don’t forget that it may be necessary to add extra length for inside the waistband (IWB) carry. Depending on the thickness of your firearm and holster, you may need to order your belt one size larger than you would for a typical pants belt.
