Sew-on Tape

I ordered some tapes and badges to have sown on my OCP uniform but they all came in a light pattern that does not blend in with my OCP uniform. Other than that shipping was quick

We're sorry that you're unhappy with your nametapes. The lighter pattern you speak of is the OCP 3-color blend, recently (NOV 2020) approved by the U.S. Army Institute of Heraldry. The purpose of the pattern was to make rank/last names more visible (Soldiers were missing salutes, saluting E4's, misreading ranks/names, etc). Hopefully this at least clears up the lighter pattern issue!

Nothing wrong with the product per se. However, I received different OCP color patterns in the same order—I selected ‘3-color’ for nametapes and received those as ordered but did not have an option with the U.S. Army, and those arrived in the ‘7-color’ pattern. Being that there is not a selectable option for the U.S. Army, I would have assumed the same color would have been paired with the other half of my order. I won’t be re-ordering as I still am unsure I’d receive the correct product. I also think I should have been offered complementary ‘U.S. Army’ tapes so I can actually use the other half of my order.
